Archive

The archive collects every finished page of the guide, organized by the year it was prepared. Each entry has a date and a main topic, and the filter above the list helps you narrow it down to what you need right now. If you remember reading somewhere about a buffer between tasks or a shared family calendar but can't recall where, this is the place to find that page. Within each year, entries run from newest to oldest: the latest are at the top, and older pages are further down, which doesn't make them any less useful.

The weekly review and the archive have something in common: neither is about reporting; both are there so you can quickly find what's already been done.

— In the margin

How the archive works: a page appears here only once its text is finished and reread. Each entry has one main tag, which keeps the filter simple and the results clear. When an article is updated, its date in the list changes; we don't keep earlier versions. The tags match the guide's topics: “day” covers laying out your day in blocks and rescuing a morning after a delay; “week” covers scheduling in blocks, deadlines and the weekly review; “family” covers the shared calendar, household chores and planning with kids; “rest” covers sleep, breaks, overload and saying no politely. Click a tag to see only its entries, and the “All topics” button brings back the full list. Didn't find what you need? Open the new articles feed or the collections, where pages are grouped not by date but by life situation: a calm morning, a week with kids or working from home. Incidentally, the same simple approach works for your own planning notes: a date, a short title and one tag make it easy to recall later what you decided and when.
